Bluetti Elite 30 V2 Battery Pack

Bluetti seems to be on a mission to provide a power pack for pretty much every application, and they seem to be doing a pretty good job of that.

Introducing the Elite 30 V2, which a small and lightweight (only 4.3kg or 9.5lbs) power pack boasting 288Wh of capacity, and a max lifting power 1500W. This is pretty impressive and immediately makes this unit a great option as an Uninterrupted Power Suppy (UPS) for office computers, especially with its switching speed of 10ms or less. This is an affordable option allowing you time to safely power down your computer in the event of a power failure.

In a wider application, this would be ideal for day trips, weekend camping trips, picnics, etc. This makes it perfect for charging phones, cameras, drones, radios, tablets, laptops, etc.

I was able to put the Elite 30 V2 to the test at a weekend-long motorsports event. I was able to keep a couple of phones, a laptop, a radio, and a scanner powered up all weekend. I was quite impressed. For the average person, there are plenty of power ports including a couple 120V AC plugs, a couple USB-A & USB-C ports, a typical 12V port, and a couple of 12V DC5521 ports. Not many people will use the DC5521 ports, but the rest are quite useful.

What’s really nice about this unit is the charging options. It’s capable of 200W input via the PV port, thus allowing a quick charge from either solar panels, or the Charger 1 (I love that thing), or a standard 12V car adapter. Of course you can also use a standard AC plug, and with Turbo mode (1500W) activated via the app, you can charge the Elite 30 V2 in a very short period of time.

If you’re thinking about a smaller power pack for picnics, or small camping trips, give this unit some serious consideration. Another bonus is the price, which is quite reasonable considering the versatility you get from a battery pack in this segment.
